Merger & Office History
1930
Willard J. Schenck forms his own CPA practice in Appleton, Wisconsin.
1964
Willard Schenck forms partnership with Vincent Derscheid, Quentin Kuenzli and Don Sturtevant.
1972
Firm is incorporated as Schenck, Derscheid, Kuenzli, Sturtevant & Johnson, S.C.
1973
Vincent K. Derscheid is named president of the firm.
1976
Fond du Lac office is formed through merger with Clarence Hagedorn.
1977
Donald G. Sturtevant is named president of the firm.
1978
Sheboygan office is acquired from a local practitioner.
1983
Green Bay office is founded through mergers with several small local practitioners.
1983
Jeffry D. Knezel is named president of the firm.
1987
Gaarder-Miller & Associates, Ltd. is merged to form the firm’s first independent health care division.
1995
Acquisition of Comprehensive Business Services in Appleton
1997
Meier Clancy George is acquired, creating the Milwaukee/Brookfield office.
1997
Kermit L. Ellefson is named president of the firm.
1999
Aronson Schroeder is merged with Schenck, creating the Milwaukee/Fox Point office.
1999
Howard Marousek firm is acquired to form Oshkosh office.
1999
Shinners, Hucovski & Company and Jonet & Fountain LLP are merged with Schenck in Green Bay.
1999
Manitowoc office is established.
2000
Business Data Systems, Inc. in Sussex is acquired, expanding Schenck's technology consulting practice to the Milwaukee area.
2001
Cohen & Associates in Plover is acquired, and the Stevens Point/Plover office is established.
2002
Brookfield and Fox Point office combine into one location at 11414 W. Park Place in Milwaukee.
2003
William D. Goodman is named president of the firm.
2004
Sussex and Milwaukee offices merge and remain at Park Place location.
2006
Schenck becomes an independent firm associated with AGN International Ltd.
2006
Schenck acquires the health care accounting and consulting practice of Integrated Management Consulting of Pewaukee as an expansion of Schenck's current health care industry team.
2011
Wausau office is formed through merger with Rajek, Grimm & Associates.
