Robert has more than 35 years of experience in appraisals and valuations and has performed thousands of studies for fair market value, cost segregation, allocation of purchase price, property valuation, insurance valuation and fixed asset record development. He has provided services to various industries, including commercial real estate, retail, food processing, manufacturing, health care, colleges, residential and recreational.

Robert has been the featured speaker on cost segregation practices for industry groups, tax organizations, and state and national CPA societies including the AICPA National Real Estate Conference. In addition, he served as past editor of the Journal of Technical Valuation. Bob has authored numerous articles for ASA publications, the Journal of Property Taxation and several trade publications.

Key accomplishments

  • Managed and completed over 4,000 cost segregation studies ranging in construction cost of up to $1.5 billion.
  • Through a cost segregation study, aided a utility client to differ tax savings of $19 million.
  • Completed a cost segregation study which permanently differed estate taxes for a property owner saving them over $1 million.
